Winter Outfit (5): The Language of Clothes

Is what you wear a reflection of the mood you are in? Sometimes I feel less is more and want to go for something a little bit more edgy…

but I just can’t pretend to be cool. Coz all I want is to be true to myself…

Loving the asymmetrically cut coat! Are the sleeves also cropped? Perfect coat for the necklace!

The shawl works fabulous with the coat!
Regarding the first question, what I wear definitely reflects how lazy I am :D.

I’d prefer the first one. :) It got some flare of minimalism.

    Thank you gals! :-)

jibjab, the sleeves are actually not cropped.

Elysium, I found that GM shawls are more versatile than scarves. You can dress them up or down more easier. How do you wear yours? ;-)

I totally agree that the shawls are more useful than scarves, especially if one lives in a cold country. So far I have only tried different ways to wear mine at home, I’m waiting till it’s warm enough to pair it with a coat instead of the down jacket I’m having now.

Wow, the first coat is just perfect! Where is it from?

Elysium, yeah, maybe it is because of the material. Cashmere are IMHO more casual than silk and the size of the shawl plays a role too.

Nina, thank you. The coat is from cos.

COS的全名是collection of style。2的大衣我会配尼短裙,裤子的话紧身的牛仔就好。

Very nice comments, Zain, very poisitve . As a gay guy who is,once again in love wit a straight guy, I’d like to add what you probably already know, as do many others:Gay,straight,or anywhere in the broad spectrum in-between is not contagious, nor something one decides. While Lady Gaga gets on my nerves, she definitely got it right with Born this way . Whether we like,or accept it,or not, most[all?] people can’t change__Take it from one who’s tried. I’d like to add, that while I know intellectually that falling in love with a straight guy is hopeless, both the heart and the hormones have their reasons.
