Winter Outfit (2): the soft Glow of the dusty Pink

Since it is impossible for me to wear purple from head to toe, I picked up something else from my wardrobe to go with the New Springs Carre. This is an outfit I’ll definitely wear, plus a gray wool coat when going out of course. :-)

    Refreshing color in winter and getting ready for spring! I have been searching my wardrobe for nude pink to pair with baby blue too.
    The skirt looks so cute. Question: is it hard to get the Carre to stay as the waist band?

    Thanks dear! Nude pink with baby blue sounds so dreaming~~

    Answer: no, it isn’t. I normally tie the Carre into a simple knot at the back and let the thin belt go through the knot. It is then pretty stable.

    I agree.. this color combo is very refreshing and serene. Glad to see how you’ve put blue and pink in your lady-like way ;)

    I’d have to see it on you. ;) The only concern I have is 2 layers of chunky knits would be too bulky? would it be possible to switch the outter layer to something like chiffon? or inner to a thin T shirt? Also, I would like to see it with a pair of classic black pumps. But again that is just me. :D

    afterglow, thank you. I missed out on the suede over-the-knee boots from SBC I showed you last time. But happily found these decent pair instead. I am very satisfied with them coz they are made of thick leather both inside and out, keep my legs warm in the cold winter. :-D

    streetwithnoname, girl you’ve got really sharp eyes! I 100% agree on the bulky problem you mentioned. The gray part is actually leg warmers and I’ll wear tee inside the short arm sweater. I should have described this in my post, sorry. ;-) A pair of black pumps will definitely make the whole look more lady-like.
