Winter Outfit (1): Scène de Vie Skirt

It was love at the first sight, this Renaissance printed velvet skirt from Carven is my absolute favorite of the season. The “Scène de Vie” print is actually inspired by Hieronymus Bosch’s “Garden of Earthly Delights”, I adore how the old masterpiece is reinvented with a modern flair.

Let the statement print do the talk… :-) Have a pleasant new week!

Coat: Marni, top: COS, skirt: Carven, necklace: Miu Miu, gloves: Hermès, boots: Balenciaga.

What an unusual skirt and perfectly styled with very plain accessories. This is one of Bosch’s tamer pictures, some are a bit more ahem racy? halloween-y?

Very interesting skirt, definitely not for everyone.

    I`m wondering, is it just a coincidence ? – :)

Linda & Bienchen, thank you my dears. Hope you are doing fine. Hugs.

L., thank you for dropping by and for your link. It does look like a sheer coincidence, we even posted on the same day. How interesting! ;) BTW, I love Wendy’s pairing, she looks fabulous with the skirt.
