Unknown

Back in March when the movie was first out, both our friends and we were highly interested in seeing it in the theater. Unfortunately there was always something in between and we couldn’t set a date that suits both our schedules at the time. So we later decided to watch it together at our home cinema when the Blue-Ray is available.

Now the wait is finally over and we all enjoyed the movie. I actually thought that “Unknown” is something like a mix of “Taken” and “The Bourne Identity”, but it is a bit different. It has far less action compared with both other films but the story is more twisted. Not as great as the other two but definitely entertaining for a boring Thursday night. :-)

I love:

- The Bounre-ish affair
- The fast-paced storyline
- The gloomy and mysterious atmosphere of Berlin in Winter.

One big pity is that you really can guess most of the plots. But hey, that’s sometimes also a fun part of movie watching. Especially when you are speculating and betting with friends. ;-) Have you seen the movie? What’s your thought?

Wish everyone a happy weekend!

I’ve seen the film (reviewers dvd) a few months back and I really liked it. It was well filmed, Neeson is one of my favorite actors, and of course I will watch anything when there is Berlin in the backround :D… Berlin is my village, and I love it.
I agree that the story is predictable, but I loved the ending.

Lily, thank you for your input. Although some of my friends say Neeson’s acting is kinda wooden. I enjoy his performance and think he is quite unique in his generation. :-)

BTW, I love the diversity and freedom Berlin offers.

Didn’t you love Liam Neeson too? Oooh! I met him in NY some years ago, we were running in Central Park, he is so handsome, OMG! Thank you for the comments about this film, I’ll give a try next weekend.
