Summer Outfit (8): Cheap & Chic

Green is my mom’s favorite color, she’s got tones of clothes in all shades of it. Unlike her, I prefer emerald green than any other green hues. So I’d like to share my love for green today.

This gorgeous 4-pockets emerald green dress is from H&M (a very well made dress with fabulous cut at shoulders. My picture doesn’t do it justice, it is more luminous and skin flattering IRL. Highly recommended, hehe. ^_*). I am pairing it with a Marni brooch, DIYed necklace and suede ballerinas from Gianna Meliani.

Have a great week everyone! :-)

    Hi Qiuyue,

I love the flats. I didn’t know about this label. They get gorgeous flats. Are those of suede? Are they low on the toes?

Where are the other two pockets? At the back? Love how the two shades of green blend in and the slightly military shoulder style! What’s the material?

Gaelle, the flats are made of suede leather, extreme comfortable to walk. And yes, they are cut low on the toes which shows a nice exposure of toe cleavage.

birkingal, I am sure you can DIY too, it is really not a big deal. hehe~~

jibjab, the other two are side pockets. Me too love the mix of two different green tones. Material, let me take a look: polyester.

Yeah, I noticed that they changed the pink label to pale pink/white label. Do you know if it’s the same?

jibjab, I guess it is the same (am not 100% sure though). The new pale white/nude label seems to be the successor of the pink one coz I haven’t seen anything with a pink label for a long long time.
