Elysium, sure. I'll take a picture next time~~

streetwithnoname, I am 100% agree with you that style is very personal. That's why I said "they will be perfect for ME". ;-)

I'm very pleased that you enjoyed these looks, coz I wasn't sure if they are really style inspirations. Now I know it is worth posting and won't hesitate next time. Thank you for your input and support! :-)

P.S. you are very right about my personal style preferences (accessories and the mix of colors). heihei~~ Among these 4 looks, #3 is my fave. It's a pity that the shoes she worn weren't showed.

Heehee, I don't 100% agree w/u. But please don't take this wrong. Well, fashion is a world full of diversity; and style is something very personal, just like you found her outfits "boring" but they are interesting to me: #1, the animal print dress; #2 the funky print mini; #3, yes this one seems a bit too classic but the top kinda stands out of the crowd and if only I can see what shoes she's wearing; #4, hands down my favorite, the fur coat + winter neutral together is very much my cup of tea. :)
If I dare say you are much an accessory girl and play really well with colors, so I can see why you think her outfits are dull in a way as she doesn't wear necklace and is very into neutrals (from these few pictures)! :)

I think the Mors scarf ring looks best when wearing the scarf as a belt or a top. Can you take a photo of twilly as a waist band? I have been curious about it for a while. I like the engraving on this scarf ring - "Bijouterie Fantaisie", it is a very creative piece indeed.

It would be really great if you could ask about the CDC belt, thanks in advance!

streetwithnoname, hey first of all, you are not old at all! :-P

Personally I am not a big fan of these trend setters too. IMHO, many of them are trying too hard just to be trendy and cool. I appreciate effortless chic much more.

Talking about these "her way" outfits, they are very classic and wearable. But also a little bit boring, if only there are something more interesting twisted, they will be perfect for me. ;-)

Elysium, thank you for keeping me updated. Sorry that you couldn't find a suitable one at AF. But I am happy that you didn't end up your shopping trip empty handed. Enjoy your Zara blouse! :-D

We are now Mors scarf ring twins, hehe~~ ;-) Love the shape and design of this scarf ring. BTW, how would you like to use it? I tried it with a twilly as a waist band and also worn it with a scarf as a belt. I think it will look just stunning when simply worn as a necklace using a leather rope.

As for CDC belt, to be honest I have no idea what the no. 49 stands for. I only know the thinner version is actually called something like mini dog belt. Will ask my SA about this next time and let you know.

I kind of like "her way" better as those outfits suit her really well and make her appeal more classic than just "trendy". I have seen a lot of so called "trend setters" in US (they are everywhere: hollywood, bloggers, streetshot websites...)but I just don't think they will last. They might look stunning at first glance because of the body type or exotic look so people get all excited and can't wait to follow, however I think a lot of them just don't have that "bone" in them hence their style becomes shallow with not much spirit in it. Don't mind saying: I never care much about Alexa Chung, hehe...But again: I am pretty much stuck at the past and might be just too old to appreciate the "new style", call it "generation gap"? ;)

I was at Anne Fontaine today, but most of the pieces were really shirts and not blouses, a bit too stiff for my purpose. Fortunately I was passing by a Zara shop and found a suitable blouse, although it was black and white instead of only white, but I was satisfied. The rest of my blouse budget went straight to the Mors scarf ring. I visited the George V boutique for the first time, it was a lot more relaxed there. There was a CDG belt in black and gold HW, very nice indeed, but I was a bit confused about the size. It says 49, is it the thin one or the thick one?

Elysium, you are very welcome! Hope you can find something makes your heart sing. :-)

jibjab: yeah, she might be influenced by her mom a lot. I remember Bee said in "The September Issue" something like that she has no interest in working in the fashion industry. Julia on the contrary seems to enjoy modeling. BTW, She also did the AD for the new fragrance of Jil Sander.

She is the daughter of French Vogue Editor-in-chief, Carine, no wonder that fashion is in her blood!
There is even talk about rivalry between her and Anna Wintour's daughter, haha
