Spring Outfit (5): Pattern Mix

Since we are leaving for Easter holiday tomorrow, I thought I’d do a quick post today. An outfit mixed with at least four patterns as challenged by Julide. :-)

When I read the challenge, a skirt in Miao ethnic print mixed with something in delightful African tribal pattern came into my mind, but unfortunately I couldn’t find the right pieces in my wardrobe, so I ended up with this simple stripes/dots combo (hope you don’t find it too boring, dear Julide). I wore this outfit last Saturday and felt, well, really great. ;-)

Wish you all a wonderful Easter with lots of sweet treats! ;-P

Dress & belt: H&M, top: a no name one I’ve had for ages, shawl: COS, flats: Miu Miu.

Dear friend, you did it again! how you manage to combine four patterns and look fresh and cool is something that fascinates me. Happy Easter and safe trips, we are going to Barcelona tomorrow. Arrivederci!

I really like the scarf-dress combo. It’s almost like they are made for each other.
The action shot brings the dress alive! More action please!

This outfit looks much better in person! Maxi dress makes your legs look mil long.
Americans like wearing pastel for easter week, not sure why…

Birkinmary, oh I LOVE Barcelona (the city, the people and all these mouthwatering foods)! Hope you had a great time there. Thanks a lot for your compliment, glad you liked this outfit. :-)

jibjab, they are indeed a perfect match, not only the print, but also the material. xixi~~

Julide, you are most welcome and thank you for the nice comment. Your challenge gave me courage and made me more open-minded (I would not have worn the maxi dress this way, lol). So thank you my dear friend!

purseaddict, long time no see darling. I am so happy to see you here again. Thank you for dropping by and enjoy Spring!

streetwithnoname, I happened to see the dress on sale for a mere 7 euro, the print is lovely and it feels good in hands. So I took it home without even trying on. It was an impulsive buy but a very satisfying one coz the fit is so flattering. haha~~

BTW, I don’t think we have this kind of dress tradition for Easter here.
