Light up Black & White

The discussion with jibjab on how to make cutouts pieces look less loud makes me what to post this outfit I’ve almost forgotten. ;-) There are no cutcouts in this look, but the idea is quite the same. When there is a statement piece (the necklace here), I’d rather keep everything else simple.

BTW, If you are the type of person who prefer simple and modest clothes, bold accessories are always a good choice to add some visual interest.

    Such a bright yellow! Very eye catching.
    I have a small collection of necklaces, scarves, belts and other pieces but I always find myself in a hurry in the morning. Laying aside the potential outfit for next day never works for me as I change my mind every moment. ;)

    What a popping color! Love this jacket of yours, so simple that the signature necklace stands out nicely!
    I’ve been pairing a houndstooth coat with color too :)
    But I’m like streetwithnoname, always end up with the same necklace after I find myself spending too much time changing the outfit :(

    I don’t prepare for the potential outfit for next day either. What I usually do is check the weather first after waking up, then consider what to wear while taking a shower. It works like a charm, hehe~~ ;-)

    jibjab, houndstooth print with a pop of color is wonderful!
