Spring Outfit (3): Green Breeze

So my lovelies, I’ve chosen these two challenges for the first round of our game:

    1. a casual one with a pair of navy pants and an H carré
    2. one ensemble with 4 or more patterns

Photos will be taken & posted soon. For today, let me share an old picture as an appetiser. Enjoy your weekend and see you next week! :-D

      Fashion Challenges

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your weekend was wonderful! We spent an utterly busy but fun two days, filled with a Sunday brunch with friends, swimming under the sun, a poker evening with great music… and I also did a little shopping on Saturday (got myself some nice summer clothes).

As I checked my blog this morning, I saw this comment from a dear reader:

“Your pictures are exquisite and inspiring! Would you accept fashion challenges from your followers? I’ve got two outfits in my wish list to propose:

      1. A red one with your RG Birkin.
      2. A casual one with a pair of navy pants and a H carré.”

I never did fashion challenges before but it sounds like a fun game, so why not? If you are interested, please feel free to participate. Simple write down you wish outfit like the lovely Birkinmary did. I cannot guarantee everything but I’ll try my best to fulfill every requirement and of course, not letting you gals down. lol~~

For the first round, I would like to select two of your wish outfits at the end of the week. The pictures will be posted next week. So… let the game begin! :-P

      The Real McQueen

Normally I don’t do lengthy posts with loads of photos, because it might take too long to load a page. For me, 3 seconds is the absolute limit. If a page does not appear in 3 seconds, I’ll mostly close the tab and go elsewhere. Ok, I know that patience is a virtue, but unluckily I wasn’t born with a lot of it (maybe I should blame this on my mom? lol~~).

However, I do want to share a picturesque article today. It is such a treat for the eyes, so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I do. Last but not least, have a fabulous weekend! :-D

Spring Outfit (2): Freshness & Fun

I seldom plan outfits in advance, because you rarely know what mood you are going to be in on a given day, right? But when I heard that we’ll have 21°C on Saturday, I just couldn’t help thinking about this one.

So hurry Saturday, please come quick! lol~~

      Collection L’Heure Hermès

I adore the way Hermès do their ads & campaigns: the understated mood, the sense of freedom, the spark of creativity…

And on top of all: beautiful with a playful spirit. Have a wonderful new week!

BTW, the photo with two hands up in the air is my absolute favorite. <3

Spring Outfit (1): A Pop of Color Block

A black wool coat keeps me warm in the morning, but it can’t hide my eagerness for Spring colors. ;-)

Coat: Zadig & Voltaire, shirt: COS, belt: Prada, skirt: Maliparmi, shoes: Kenzo.

      S/S Inspiration: What’s White Now

I’ve been always fascinated by the magic of the white shirt, not because it is a cult fashion classic, but how a simple piece of white cloth could appear so unique, so powerful and so effortless chic.

I have couple of lovely pieces in my closet but for the coming Spring/Summer season, I’m hoping to find more interesting white shirts. Just can’t get enough of them. ;-)

Winter Outfit (7): Rubis Belt in Action

Some readers of this blog would like to see an outfit paired with the reversible belt (the Rubis side), I finally managed to snap a picture on Sunday and hope it is not too late. ;-)

To be honest, I wasn’t really a fan of the color Rubis at the begining coz I prefer true red like Rouge Garance. However, after trying it in person, I changed my mind. Rubis is not a classic red, but a rich and interesting rasberry red with a fresh touch, especially in Epsom and Swift leather. It can light up a neutral ensemble easily, also goes amazingly well with earth tone, navy and even soft pink and pale sky blue.

Shirt dress: H&M, vest: Gebeana, necklace: COS, gloves: Roeckl, belt: Hermès, shoes: Marni.

      S/S Inspiration: Dots | Stripes | Black | White

Spring is still not here, but according to the weather forecast, the temperature will climb to above zero tomorrow. Well, at least this is good news coz I am so tired of winter clothing.

Looking forward to wear lightweight coats, jackets and dresses. :-D BTW, I just love the styling of this editorial!

      Winter Outfit (6): Belted Up

I promised some fellow blogger friends to post an outfit with the H reversible belt, so there you go my dears. :-) Isn’t the pop of purple a lovely surprise?

Top & skirt: COS, trench: Comptoir des Cotonniers, belt & scarf: Hermès, booties: ???, sorry, can’t remember the brand anymore (geez, I am getting old, lol).
