Carré Story – Monsieur et Madame

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend. To kick off a new week, I’d like to share one of my recent acquisitions: T-Shirt Carré Monsieur et Madame by Bali Barret.

What attracts me about this carré is not only the fun design (a gentleman and a lady with iconic Hermès products for man and woman painted inside their body), but also the fabric. Unlike the classic silk carré, this one is 100% made of cotton, which is butter soft and just perfect for hot summer days! Besides, I love how versatile it is. My SA joked that it is a “collector’s” piece because you can count the items in the carré to see how many you’ve already have in your own collection. lol~~ My dear H lovers, what do you think? ;-)

While I like it on other ppl, the light grey and the bright orange are an all time fav of mine, I can’t fork out the money for this. I’m afraid I’m too cheap lol! But still I admire those who will wear it proudly.

haha – i love this! one of the things i really love about Hermes is their whimsical tongue-in-cheek aesthetics, especially in their scarf prints. such a refreshing balance to its an old and venerated heritage!

Lily, are you kidding me?! You wear your Hs so well, casual, chic and understated. Cheap? NO WAY! lol~~~

jibjab, there are also scarves, perfume, bracelets, gloves, watch and even orange boxes… haha~~ I just realized that the only thing/category I don’t own is the shoes, need to get myself a pair someday so I can tell my SA next time: farewell my dear, now I am done! Mission completed. :-D

miss sophie, thank you. I totally agree. BTW, I always love how you put these words together, so poetic beautiful.

Birkinmary, this CW is gris chine/orange/rouge vif. Don’t you think you need this one to match your divine RV KP? Enabling, enabling, haha~~ BTW, I think it is versatile due to the size, which is 110cm X 110cm.

    Jane, it costs EUR 260.

, to my understanding, this is the only design for the material. It is a special seasonal scarf, I guess this is why they don’t do it in other designs (my fellow H experts, correct me pls if I’m wrong).

Julide, haha, my SA is really a sweetheart. She called me about the scarf while I was in Paris (coz she thought I might like it) and was holding it for me until I was back home. As for action pictures, ahhhh, you all know that I am too shy to post my own pictures here, well, maybe next time.;-)

jibjab, you are one smart girl~~~ :-)

Birkinmary, ohhh…sorry to hear that. In my country, I can ask my SA to locate one from other cities if they don’t have it in stock. Maybe you can ask this too? If I can do any help, drop me a line.

Really big pleasure to go through your blog even though I’d like to read, enjoy more times if possible. Titon is the name of the small street where I passed several years of my life in Paris, and it was great and uncopied. Now I am in Munich and you make me a little bit “homesick”, but fine, just want to say your outfit and feeling of style is incredible!

Titon, so glad to see you here!:-D Many thanks for your sweet comment. You made my day!

Living in Paris must be an amazing & unforgettable experience, I totally feel you. On the other hand, Munich is a wonderful city too, it’s my favorite in Germany btw! Hope to see you here more often~~~
