Artistic Colors

I love to wear colorful clothes in autumn/winter, especially when the gloomy weather affects my mood, making me feel tired and depressed. These fabulous artistic prints/colors always cheer me up and make my day! :-)

    I love the 2nd outfit. All colors are harmoniously complementing each other. The gold buckle of the belt is eye catchy on black blazer. Where is it from ;)

    The first outfit is good. Just a thought that it could be better with other shoes choices.. hmm.. what do you think?

    Yeah, the shoes in the first outfit is kinda plain, my idea was using something in black to balance the blazer. And since the skirt and the necklace are eye-catching enough, I’d rather pair them with shoes in simple design. What’s your thoughts? ;-)

    Hey ;) I am thinking pumps in champagne color, or blue satin would make the outfit more lively. Champagne complements with skin tone whereas blue satin (I remember you like satin) goes with the skirt. Thoughts? ;)

    These outfits reminds me of Olivia P somehow, don’t know why ;)

    Many thanks~~ Love the idea of blue satin pumps, it will look great with gray metallic tights together. Not sure about the champagne color though, because this outfit is supposed to be worn in A/W and I rarely wear light colored tights. Isn’t the contrast then too intense? Maybe it is better to wear pumps/booties in bi-colors. I’ve been eying these gorgeous pumps from Alaïa for a while, but don’t want to splurge that much. ;-)

    Talking about OP, perhaps because of the necklace? Seems like she’s a big fan of statement necklaces, hehe~~

    Oh that belt, they don’t sell it online? I don’t know this because I never bought anything from H online. Perfer to go there in person, KWIM~~ :-) Maybe you can call a boutique and ask for it. I know they ship within US, best luck! (and keep me posted, hoho~~)

    Sorry dear… I totally agree with you then. I did not consider tights for the whole outfits.. I was thinking going… bare legs :) And you gotta show me the picture of Alaia pumps!

    OP not only likes statement necklace, she also wears vests, blazers and cardigans a lot! ;)

    Aww… no H boutique within 100 miles radius here!! The closest one is 400 miles (~640km) away :D I prefer to check out in person.. I’m assuming the belt comes in many different colors. Anyway many thanks!! ^_^

    As to the pumps, I actually put a link to them. That’s why the text “Alaïa” in fifth comment is bold. All you need to do is click on that text~~ ;-)

    Gosh, 640km! That’s torture for me. lol~~ Yeah, you are right. The belt comes in different colors and in different leather too. It’s definitely better to have a look and try it in person. :-)

    hey Dear,

    I fly to Milano tomorrow. There is an disigner outlet next to my hotel, carrying a lot of Alaïa shoes/cloth with tempting discount. If you have anything in mind, let me know.

    The outlet is run by a relative of IT Vogue chief editor, rumor has it. It does get a lot of wierd and interesting stuffs.

    I am actually in love with these in the link. But they are imho still overpriced after 50% off, since these pumps are not made of real exotic skin but just normal leather with a snakeskin effect. I do like this material combo and design though. Thanks for thinking of me and wish you a wonderful time in Milan. CU soon~~

    Thanks shaonian, the second skirt is from my favorite store COS. And yes, the Marni one is a real stunner. Love love…hey you’ve already got so many gorgeous skirts. ^_*

    loll, 说得是啊，我大粗跟小圆头的鞋子还真不少。恩，一把年纪了，不能再老刷绿漆了。;-)

    I love COS! They have very unique pieces every season. Some of the designs remind me a lot of Jil Sander and Marni. ;-) And as to the skirt, I’m so weak when it comes to these artistic prints, could never get enough of them. lol~~
