About Individuality

Another wonderful article I read recently is an interview of Comme des Garçons’s Rei Kawakubo (here is the link). I love her comment on fast fashion: “I don’t feel too excited about fashion today. People just want cheap fast clothes and are happy to look like everyone else.”

Those words remind me of this picture I came across today. No clothes & accessories are more interesting than something darling, unique and individual… Have a great rest of week everyone! :-)

Although “cheap” clothing is still a luxury for many, and the comment is very condescending towards ppl who love fashion but can’t afford high end pieces, I agree with Rei Kawakubo. There is no real innovation in fashion any more. Everything seems to be coming out of a cookie cutter. I blame the designers & the big brand names, not the consumers for this.

Hi Anonymous, thank you for your input. :-)

I think it’s a pity that nowadays lots of people are busy tracing the trends and following the fashion magazines which sometimes leads to the lack of personal charm and creativity. On the other hand, cheap clothes aren’t always bad. I have couple of lovely pieces from H&M, they are very easy to be taken care of and still look quite nice after seasons of wear.

    Happy weekend!

You can buy the actual pcagake of any video converter (AVC) online, and they will mail it to you, or you could download it for free which I recommend seeing how it works so perfectly. At least for me anyway, hope I helped.

Todd in VADavey never imposes annyhitg on us. He merely presents us with alternative ways to view and think about Life. Generally, his views come from a place of higher awareness, and it’s to be expected than not everyone will agree with him… and that’s ok, cuz that’s how it’s supposed to be. ____________________________________Davey,I think this is one of your most important blogs / talky blogs. You present one of the most essential keys to unlocking the doors to an enlightened understanding of Life. The last line is awesome and applies to beliefs, opinions, religion, and points of view. Thank you. Peace, Love, and Truth,Todd in VA
