I really hope you aren’t getting tired of my lil’ suede vest. This is her last show (at least for a while ;-P).
Today I’m wondering if a cool suede vest can ever look sweet and girly. So I teamed it with a cropped swing jacket and a denim shorts. Used a scarf as belt for more softness and femininity. Doesn’t she look lovely together with her friends? :-) Please Let me know what you think?

violet and blue combo is one of my all time favorites!! :D
okay opinion.. the upper part of the outfit looks a little “tough”. Would it be the combo of solid colors navy and violet have given some masculinity/strength to the outfit? Maybe the cropped jacket can be switched to a lighter and more airy piece, just wondering? or, some accessories can be added to the vest just to lighten up, like a brooch or something. i myself always encounter this problem (to lighten up) when i have a big piece of dark solid color to deal with :(

You are absolutely right, something in chiffon or silk as top will look more balanced with the shorts. Using of brooch is a great idea too, I just realize that I don’t have any brooches. Maybe it’s time to go shopping, ah? :-)

I like the purple jacket, the color is so beautiful. When I opened the page, your purple jacket caught my eyes immediately, just like “click”. Honestly I love how purple combined with black ( or navy? My damn screen, always misleading me) . I saw afterglow’s opinion, and she’s right, maybe you can pair with some light-colored pieces, like something silver or white, say a silver/white softy shoulder bag or something. Because the whole outfit looks really summer-y or early autumn-y, the upper part might be a little “heavy” comparing to the lower part… but the white shirt is also a nice clean touch ^_^ yeah!
Hi Shaonianxin!! I just noticed Qiuyue’s post title (sorry dear…) you’re right, the vest indeed is black!! :p silver shoulder bag sounds like a good idea. why on earth I could only think of a beige bag to match. now i have another item on my wish list :D
Hi Qiuyue~~ Miu miu always has some great brooches/pins. Some of them (not just Miu miu’s) weigh a ton so I guess we need heavier fabric to hold. I use them mostly on outerwear :) Sometimes I’ll add one on necklace to make it look more fun!

Dear afterglow, actually I didn’t notice the title, hehe… (sorry, Qiuyue :P) so when you said navy, I thought it was navy too, you know, my computer does have this bad bad habit of always trying to confuse me on colors…. it’s my computer, baby ^_^, no worries!!
Beige is also a nice nice choice ^_^ great to go with blue denim minis ya! :)
