A is for Accessories

I was talking to a friend yesterday and we were discussing how to make the dreary and boring winter outfits more fun? In the end we both agreed that using the right accessories might be the best way (hey, if you’ve got a better idea, pls let us know ;-) ).

Besides scarves, hats, gloves… I really want to play with arm warmers this winter. They will lend a casual and sporty attitude to a cold-weather wardrobe. Paired them with a dress this time, what do you think?

    Yeah, me too… arm warmers seem so fun to play with :) LOVE the patterns of the dress, artistic~~~~~~

    afterglow, the scarf is actually in champagne color. It looks fine on my screen, but as you said salmon, I asked DH to take a look on his computer, it then looks very salmonish. I guess it depends on monitors. :-( Thanks for your sweet comment anyway~~

    shaonian, are you gonna create some outfits with arm warmers too? ;-D

    BTW, I forgot to mention: the color of the scarf goes so perfectly with the shade of the dress ^_^ Beautiful~~~~~~ Love it :)

    Maybe u can use the arm warmers as gaiters too. I like the idea of grey gaiters to black opaque tights.
    Another great accessoire this winter is a hat. I like to wear a beanie hat. It looks like a wool cap.

    Thanks dear shaonian, how’s your weekend? We visited friends and watched a movie (it is called Up, a great animation film with a very touching story. Strongly recommended~~ ;-)

    BTW, I got the arm warmer from Falke at a department store here. Maybe you can find something similar. Can’t wait to see how you play with them. ^_*

    Gaiters are a great idea, just if you use arm warmers as gaiters, won’t they be really loose and kinda big afterwards?

    How I like arm warmers too! They really come in handy by the beach in winter.
