A Green Easter

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. We spent five relaxed days visiting family and meeting friends. The weather was so terrific which allowed us to stay most of the time outdoors in the gorgeous sunshine.

It’s insane how fast time flies, especially when you’re having a good time. Don’t you agree? Enjoy Spring while it lasts! BTW, I’ll be back to the fashion challenge game in my next post. ;-)

Spring Outfit (5): Pattern Mix

Since we are leaving for Easter holiday tomorrow, I thought I’d do a quick post today. An outfit mixed with at least four patterns as challenged by Julide. :-)

When I read the challenge, a skirt in Miao ethnic print mixed with something in delightful African tribal pattern came into my mind, but unfortunately I couldn’t find the right pieces in my wardrobe, so I ended up with this simple stripes/dots combo (hope you don’t find it too boring, dear Julide). I wore this outfit last Saturday and felt, well, really great. ;-)

Wish you all a wonderful Easter with lots of sweet treats! ;-P

Dress & belt: H&M, top: a no name one I’ve had for ages, shawl: COS, flats: Miu Miu.

Spring Outfit (4): Navy Pants + H Carré

Happy Monday eveyone! Are you ready for the reader’s challenges? The outfit I’m showcasing today is a casual ensemble with a pair of navy pants and an H carré. I love the combination of cozy harem pants and the playful sweater with irregular polka dots. The H carré is perfect for the April weather and adds a bit of chicness to this casual urban look.

So my dear Birkinmary, what do you say? Do I pass the exam? ;-P

Sweater & pants: COS, scarf: Hermès (Fantaisie Pittoresque), shoes: Maison Martin Margiela.

Spring Outfit (3): Green Breeze

So my lovelies, I’ve chosen these two challenges for the first round of our game:

    1. a casual one with a pair of navy pants and an H carré
    2. one ensemble with 4 or more patterns

Photos will be taken & posted soon. For today, let me share an old picture as an appetiser. Enjoy your weekend and see you next week! :-D

      Fashion Challenges

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your weekend was wonderful! We spent an utterly busy but fun two days, filled with a Sunday brunch with friends, swimming under the sun, a poker evening with great music… and I also did a little shopping on Saturday (got myself some nice summer clothes).

As I checked my blog this morning, I saw this comment from a dear reader:

“Your pictures are exquisite and inspiring! Would you accept fashion challenges from your followers? I’ve got two outfits in my wish list to propose:

      1. A red one with your RG Birkin.
      2. A casual one with a pair of navy pants and a H carré.”

I never did fashion challenges before but it sounds like a fun game, so why not? If you are interested, please feel free to participate. Simple write down you wish outfit like the lovely Birkinmary did. I cannot guarantee everything but I’ll try my best to fulfill every requirement and of course, not letting you gals down. lol~~

For the first round, I would like to select two of your wish outfits at the end of the week. The pictures will be posted next week. So… let the game begin! :-P

      The Real McQueen

Normally I don’t do lengthy posts with loads of photos, because it might take too long to load a page. For me, 3 seconds is the absolute limit. If a page does not appear in 3 seconds, I’ll mostly close the tab and go elsewhere. Ok, I know that patience is a virtue, but unluckily I wasn’t born with a lot of it (maybe I should blame this on my mom? lol~~).

However, I do want to share a picturesque article today. It is such a treat for the eyes, so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I do. Last but not least, have a fabulous weekend! :-D

      First Peonies of the Season

Peonies are my all time favorite flower. I adore the different shades of pink (it’s kinda weird because I’m not even a pink fan. But when it comes to peonies, pink is THE color ;-P). The paper thin petals made me realize how lighthearted, vivid and subtle pink can be <3. Besides, Peonies smell so heavenly delicate, and they last a pretty long time as cut flowers…

And… Gosh, it’s really hard to find the best way to describe my love for peonies, because they are just too gorgeous for words. lol~~
