Spring Outfit (1): Sunset Gray

Finally we had a Sunday full of sunshine! :-) However, just when I was dreaming of spring, it surprised me again with a white garden this morning. Oh, how I wish I could wear something like this today?

Hermès S/S 10 Campaign

Anyone else getting tired of winter and looking forward to spring? These fabulous ads just put a smile on my face and drive the winter cold away. Not to mention the priceless childhood memories behind: the little Mermaid, Aladdin’s genie, Cinderella…

Karlie Kloss by Paolo Roversi, enjoy! :-)

Happy Chinese New Year

Yesterday was the start of the Chinese new year. I wish all my dear friends a happy, healthy and successful year of tiger! I hope all of us have the determination and bravery of the tiger in facing all the ups and downs in 2010. :-)

My mom used to give me new clothes from head to toe to kick off the new year while I was a child. Now I am not a little girl anymore and don’t follow this tradition every year, but I always wear something red to celebrate.

S/S2010 Trends I love (4): Print on Print

Being a pattern lover, I always enjoy seeing runway shows with beautiful prints and patterns. It seems that many designers are getting tired of the traditional floral or tribal pattern this season and wanted something more playful and fresh.

The idea (print on print) itself is nothing new, it just all depends on how you put these prints together: floral with stripes, tribal with tie-dye or polka dots with abstract petals… Are you gonna give this trend a try in summer? :-)

Winter Outfit (5): The Language of Clothes

Is what you wear a reflection of the mood you are in? Sometimes I feel less is more and want to go for something a little bit more edgy…

but I just can’t pretend to be cool. Coz all I want is to be true to myself…

Winter Outfit (4): Neutrals

I don’t have tons of neutrals in my wardrobe because, as you might have noticed, I love colors. ;-) But I always admire those who wear neutrals in an unexpected beautiful way.

It’s easy to match blacks, whites, beiges and grays, but how to make them more personal and interesting is not as simple as just putting them together, agree? Please feel free to share your thoughts and ideas~~
